"Let motherhood change you. Let it re-arrange you. Let it soften your hard edges. Let it release your rules and rigidity. Let it unravel you. Let go. Let it go. Let go of what you thought motherhood would be like and be present to the unfolding of what actually 'is.' Be with it. Sit with it. Hold it. Feel it. Breathe it in. It's not here to hurt you. It's here to transform you."

-Brittany Chambers

Has motherhood transformed you? How about your pregnancy and birth experience? There is so much power in these experiences, and yet as mothers we often lack safe places to talk openly about how these rites of passage have shaken us to our core and unravelled us in ways we could've never predicted or prepared for. And often we lack the support we need to fully surrender to 'what is' - the beauty and chaos and joy and mess of it all.

I believe our experience of parenting is deeply connected to the way we experienced pregnancy and birth, and that themes present in our life before becoming a parent (including our own childhood themes) continue to show up in our present life - sometimes in helpful ways and sometimes in not-so-helpful ways.

The intensity of pregnancy, birth and parenting can often uncover these patterns from our younger years. We're invited to lean in, get curious and explore how themes from the past might be impacting our current health and wellbeing, our relationship to self and our relationship to others.

I support parents of children of any age, but I'm especially passionate about working with parents of babies and toddlers, as this is the space I've worked in for almost two decades!
